Manager Darren Fraser and Head Chef Mark Ebbels lead our hat-wearing establishment. At TarraWarra, they are dedicated to providing each and every client with a great experience. Mark's menu is greatly influenced by our kitchen garden and locally produced ingredients, as well as his extensive expertise in international kitchens. He produces foods that are unique, unusual, and, above all, delicious. Darren is the epitome of professionalism. He began working at TarraWarra in 2003, and since then, he has educated a large number of young locals in providing friendly yet professional service while keeping the highest standards in a welcoming environment.
In keeping with the Estate's dedication to sustainability, Darren and Mark hope to make a beneficial impact on the way we operate as well as leave a lasting impression on our guests.
Open Tuesday-Sunday, 11 am - 5 pm (serving coffee and snacks from Cellar Door on Tuesdays). Walk-ins are welcome.
Kerstin Thompson Architects built our subterranean Cellar Door, which initially opened in 2016, to provide our guests a unique view into TarraWarra's wines and stories.
Our 28-hectare vineyard, which is spread across the 400-hectare property, produces all of our wines. Because each wine reflects something of the character of TarraWarra, tasting across our range is a trip throughout the Estate as well as through the seasons.
The curved stone entrance reveals a truly beautiful, dedicated tasting space, which opens onto our working winery.
