At Shobosho, we blend smoke, steam, and fire; ancient traditions of Japanese yakitori, with the finesse, skill & texture of all that is raw, cured, pickled and fermented.
From a specially-commissioned cooking line consisting of a wood oven, hydraulic grill, rotisserie and customised yakitori pit, the element of fire will speak through simply seasoned, seared meats and vegetables.
The menu takes a journey through raw to cooked, with yakitori, noodles, dumplings, bao, robata grilled and spit roasted meats.
Our bar and kitchen operates all day. From lunch, to snacks with afternoon sakes, and right into the night.
DINE-IN AT SHOBOSHO.
We will be offering our full a la carte menu as well as tasting menus for lunch and dinner. Bookings are available from 12pm - 3pm for lunch, walk-ins from 3pm - 5pm, and dinner bookings from 5:30pm - late. Please be aware that all bookings are for strictly 2 hours & any reservations for 6 guests or more will be required to partake in our tasting menu. We require 24 hours notice on all cancelations to avoid a fee of $35pp.
Please note when booking online our maximum booking size is 8 people. For larger groups of up to 14, please contact the restaurant directly by either phone or email.
Our policy is that we do not accept external birthday cakes in the restaurant.
