Explore the postcard perfect landscapes and abundant wildlife of Fiordland by water, land or air. The region is home to three of New Zealand’s nine Great Walks which take 3-4 days allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the raw beauty of Fiordland. The breathtaking lakeside town of Te Anau is the gateway to discovering the Fiords and Milford Sound. The Milford Track is arguably the most famous track in New Zealand, a 53km journey that expands past Lake Te Anau, suspension bridges, board walks and a mountain pass with views of expansive valleys, emerald lakes and towering mountain peaks. You will also encounter Sutherland falls, the tallest waterfall in the world.

You won’t need an Olympic level of fitness to explore Fiordland however, there are plenty of tracks that take as little as half an hour as well as helicopter tours over untouched mountains, forests and the great Lake Hauroko. Discover the immense waterways of Milford Sound or Doubtful Sound on an overnight cruise including breakfast, dinner, private cabin accommodation and kayaking. Spot bottle nosed dolphins, fur seals and penguins amongst the scenery.
