Departure at 9:30 AM from Colmar to Haut Koenigsbourg. Haut Koenigsbourg castle is the most famous fortified castle in Alsace and one of the most visited monuments in Alsace. The Haut Koenigsbourg castle was completely restored at the request of Emperor William II from 1900, which makes it original and attractive, despite the controversies surrounding restoration. An unmissable monument.

After that, an essential stop on the wine route,Ribeauvillé : This superb village built in length kept part of its medieval fortifications. The “Tour des Bouchers” dates from the 13th century. Listed as a historic monument in 1866, it was saved from destruction following a fire in the 19th century. Today it demarcates the old town from the middle town of Ribeauvillé. The village is decorated with squares and fountains. You can stroll along its famous "Grand’rue" and its picturesque neighborhoods, and sit among its beautiful terraces.

Then we will go to Riquewihr, It's one of the most beautiful villages in Alsace, surrounded by ramparts. Nicknamed "Pearl of the Alsatian vineyard", the village is surrounded by vineyards and the quality of this vineyard is world renowned.

At last, we will go to Kaysersberg. An old medieval city with its cobbled streets and half-timbered houses, Kaysersberg was elected favorite village of the French in 2017. It is also here that the first vines were imported from Hungary in the 16th century and wine, as in all villages located along the wine route, represents the biggest economic aspect of the village.
