    DAY ONE
    You will be met by our guide and driver at the cruise port or in the lobby of your hotel, and drive around the city centre. You will hear the story of the Northern Russian Capital from the very beginning and make stops on the way to take a photo of the most beautiful places.

    Stop At: Peterhof, Peterhof, Petrodvortsovy District, St. Petersburg, Northwestern District

    Then we will take you out of St Petersburg, to one of its most picturesque suburbs. You will drive through the historic part of St Petersburg and hear the exciting stories about St Petersburg from your guide. Then you get to the pier to take a speed boat – hydrofoil – and travel to Peterhoff. This is an experience in itself, and you can enjoy the stunning views and landscapes around the Gulf of Finland. You dock right at Peterhoff lower park and start exploring the Russian Versailles straight away. Touring the enormous parkm you will see dozens of beautiful fountains, each of them has its own peculiar shape and a story behind. You will learn the history of Peterhoff, see the Grand Cascade and the Grand Palace, and you will also have a chance to go inside one of the smaller palaces, if you wish. Then you will have some time for a lunch or a snack in the park, and you will be met by your driver to go back to the downtown.

    The metro in St Petersburg was built not only for practical purposes, it was meant to be the underground palace made for public. You will hear different exciting stories, connected with each station and the metro system as a whole. One of the most vivid experiences will be your chance to watch and take part in the real life of the city, go off the beaten track and leave tourist places for some time to see how ordinary people live in Russia, how they look and what they do every day.

    You have a visit to Savior on Spilled Blood – one of the brightest and the most Russian-looking churches in the city with an amazing story of neglecting and recovery.

    You drive to the pier to board the boat and take a ride around the rivers and canals of St Petersburg. This gives you a completely different perspective of the city, and you will take a lot of wonderful photos of the embankments and gorgeous architecture reflected in the waters.

    DAY TWO
    Meeting Time is 10 AM. Your personal guide and driver will meet you right next to the passport control with the sign: Anastasia Travel Group ........
    You will proceed to the most important museum in Russia – the Hermitage, which consists of several buildings and contains a great collection of world masterpieces. You will see the most important of them, and then have a traditional Russian lunch at one of the best St Petersburg restaurants.

    You visit St Isaac’s Cathedral, which is among the largest European churches. It is dedicated to Saint Isaac of Dalmatia, a patron saint of Peter the Great, who had been born on the feast day of that saint. The neoclassical exterior expresses the traditional Russian-Byzantine formula of a Greek-cross ground plan with a large central dome and four subsidiary domes. The cathedral's main dome rises 101.5 meters (333 ft) and is plated with pure gold. The dome is decorated with twelve statues of angels by Josef Hermann.
