Stop At: Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins, Spanish Lagoon, Oranjestad Aruba

Now known as Aruba, a colorful history of gold prospectors has shaped the island's history, dating back to the 1400's and 1500's, when adventurers searched the Caribbean for wealth and treasures.

Arikok national park houses the remains of historic gold mines at Miralamar. In addition there are two gold mills on island. On the northern coast sits the abandoned Bushiribana gold mill that once processed ore from mines in the nearby hills during Aruba's gold rush of the nineteenth century.

    Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Wariruri Beach, Unnamed Road, Noord, Aruba

Wariruri Beach is located at Wariruri Bay, a sand cove surrounded by a rocky coastline consisting of limestone, worn out by the sea. Wariruri Beach is well known for its surfing and fishing opportunities, especially the surfers (both local and tourist) riding the waves is a spectacular sight to visit and just watch. Interesting is also to have a look at what the ocean the fishermen brings when they are casting their lines.

    Duration: 35 minutes

Stop At: Aruba Ostrich Farm, Matividiri 57, Oranjestad Aruba

You will learn interesting facts about the ostrich’s amazing speed as well as mating, rearing, feeding habits and defence mechanisms it uses against predators. You will even have the opportunity to hand-feed the not-so-shy creatures. The guide-tour concludes with a visit to the incubator, hatchery, and the special pens for young ostriches and emus.

    Duration: 35 minutes

Stop At: Arikok National Park, Arikok National Park, Aruba

This beautiful National Park in Aruba comprises almost 20% of the island. Enjoy gorgeous vistas of Aruba’s rugged terrain, desert-like hills filled with tall cacti, a breathtaking coastline and protected local flora and fauna.

    Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Baby Beach, San Nicolas Aruba

Take in spectacular ocean views and indulge in shallow, crystal clear water at this magnificent paradise, Baby Beach.

Famous Baby Beach in the southern part of Aruba, close to San Nicolas, is a true Caribbean beach paradise. This gorgeous half-moon sandy expanse in a calm lagoon is ideal for families with small kids.

    Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Alto Vista Chapel, Noord Aruba

The chapel was built in 1952 on the site of the original, and first, Catholic church built in Aruba in 1750 by a Spanish missionary, Domingo Antonio Silvestre. The bright yellow chapel is reached by a winding road lined with white crosses marking the stations of the cross. It is a special place for peace and contemplation, surrounded by the Aruban countryside.
