Trek To Mount Kilimanjaro

A less travelled route, Lemosho offers a more pristine trail to the summit, with lush rainforest and fabulous wilderness experiences, particularly on the first three days of the climb. The time taken to walk across the wilderness of the Shira Plateau allows climbers to get used to the altitude before tackling the busy Barafu route to the summit.

Thus, Lemosho is highly recommended. The Kilimanjaro climb 8 days lemosho is the best for acclimatization.

The minimum duration for the Lemosho route is 7 days, however we strongly recommend hiking the route in 8 days. The additional 8th day will give your body more time to acclimatize, reducing the effects of altitude sickness and give you more time to rest before attempting the summit.
