Handicraft is not merely souvenirs to take back from a vacation in Mauritius; it is also the labour of love of our artisans. The Mauritius Glass Gallery produces gifts and decorative objects from recycled glass and visitors can also explore the Hands of Fame Museum featuring hand casts of various celebrities. Voiliers de l’Océan has been building model ships for the tourist and export markets for more than 30 years. The Soap Shop produces refreshingly scented soaps while CIE Private Collection is a small-scale carpet factory. After lunch in Floreal, visitors will head towards Ganga Talao, a sacred place filled with a mystic aura and natural beauty. Chamarel is home to a number of attractions including a beautiful waterfall, the Seven Coloured Earth.
