Pass By: Great Pacific Tour Co, 120 B Hickory St, San Francisco, CA 94102, USA

We've been creating and delivering high quality small group tour experiences since 1978. Our Wine Country with Lunch Tour is designed to provide a broad overview of the Napa and Sonoma Valleys. Each of the three family-owned wineries we visit has a unique ambiance and approach to wine-making. The one thing they have in common is their passion for wine-making!

Pass By: Sonoma County, Sonoma County, California

Perhaps best described as "Napa's Rustic Cousin," the 17-mile long Sonoma Valley lies nestled between two mountain ranges. Sonoma offers visitors a delightful mix of beautiful vistas, wine tasting, farm-fresh cuisine, art, shopping, and outdoor adventure!

Stop At: Sonoma Valley, Highway 12, Sonoma, CA

The first tasting will take place at Jacuzzi or Viansa.

Jacuzzi Family Vineyards - The founding family of Jacuzzi Hot Tubs built their winery to celebrate the long tradition of Tuscan wine estates. The building that houses Jacuzzi Family Vineyards is a tribute to the family's roots producing Italian style wines and premium olive oil. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a nice glass of wine and complimentary olive oil tasting.

Viansa - Idyllically situated at the summit of the Sonoma Valley, Viansa embodies the proud history of local family-owned winemaking. The legacy of Viansa dates back to 1896 when Samuele Sebastiani arrived from Tuscany and saved enough money laying cobblestone on the streets of San Francisco to purchase the vineyard property in 1904. Today, Samuele's grandchildren continue the tradition of sharing great wine and hospitality.

Stop At: Sonoma Valley, Highway 12, Sonoma, CA

The second tasting will take place at Cline Cellars or Homewood.

Cline Cellars - In 1989, Fred Cline purchased a 350-acre horse farm in Carneros and began planting Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Chardonnay. Fred built Cline Cellars on a passion for winemaking rooted in respect for the land. Today the Cline family continues that tradition by offering great wines in a relaxed country setting.

Homewood - Dave Homewood is as close to a "one man show" as it gets. Dave's rustic winery is reminiscent of Wine Country thirty years ago when it was a collection of family owned-farms with a passion for wine-making.

    Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Sonoma Plaza, Spain Street Between First Street East and First Street West, Sonoma, CA

Enjoy a relaxing seated lunch at a classic Sonoma bistro. Sonoma Plaza has done it all - Mexican military outpost, fleeting frontier republic, and Spanish Mission. Now a gorgeous historic landmark and "slow" cultural capital, Sonoma plaza radiates romance around every corner, café, and cobblestone.

Pass By: Napa Valley, Napa Valley, California

"Understated & Exceptional" are probably the two best words to describe the Napa Valley. More than 400 wineries dot the fertile soils of the Napa Valley, one of the world's premier wine growing regions and famous for its prized Cabernet Sauvignon. We take into the heart of the Napa Valley for an unforgettable Napa experience.

Stop At: Napa Valley, Napa Valley, California

The third and final tasting will take place at Mondavi or Trefethen.

Mondavi - Robert Mondavi believed that the path to a gracious lifestyle leads through the appreciation of wine, food, and art. We invite you to experience the spirit of Robert Mondavi with an exclusive tour and tasting at the Robert Mondavi Winery - the preeminent destination in the Napa Valley.

Trefethen Family Vineyards - A gem dating back to 1886, Trefethen sits at the center of Napa's Oak Knoll District and produces some of the best Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay in the world. Trefethen is a family owned and operated vineyard whose credo "One Family. One Estate. One Passion" is apparent in every sip.
