Day 1: DAKAR - SAINT-LOUIS

Stop At: Saint-Louis, Saint-Louis, Saint-Louis Region
On the way to Saint-Louis, a historic city, the former capital of French West Africa. Lunch at Le Flamingo restaurant which has a breathtaking view of the famous Faidherbe Bridge.

In the afternoon visit the old town listed as World Heritage by UNESCO, ride in traditional horse-drawn carriages and discover the preserved monuments of the colonial city: the Faidherbe Bridge, the colonial houses, the Town Hall, the Cathedral from Saint-Louis, the airmail views of the Museum and Guet Ndar fishermen's district.

Day 2: SAINT LOUIS - DJOUDJ PARK - DAKAR

Stop At: Djoudj National Bird Sanctuary, North of St. Louis, Saint-Louis Senegal
In the morning, visit the Djoudj ornithological park. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is the 1st water point after crossing the Sahara for migratory birds: cormorants, pelicans, whistling ducks, fishing eagles ... but also crocodiles, monitor lizards, warthogs and jackals are present. About 350 species are referenced there. Visit in a dugout canoe through the backwaters. Lunch at the park restaurant and return to Dakar at the end of the afternoon.
