Teluk Bahang is a busy fishing village in the northwest corner of Penang. There is a jetty and a shallow inlet where small fishing boats are moored.

Penang Batik Factory is one of the pioneers of batik manufacturing on the island. The complex is divided into three sections - an art gallery, boutique and workshop. Surrounded by lots of tropical greenery, it is one of Penang's well known sightseeing spots and offers a wide variety of quality batik, from block prints batiks to hand-drawn pieces. Here, unlike the usual one-sided print, each piece features patterns and colours on both sides of the fabric.

Snake Temple was built in 1850, dedicated to Chor Soo Kong, a Buddhist priest and healer. It is one of the few places where you can get up close to a bunch of venomous snakes and live to tell the tale.
