This region lies in the midst of Langtang and Everest range. The major highlights of this trek are the captivating sights of both Mount Langtang and Mount Everest. Trekkers will also be rewarded with the enchanting views of the majestic Mount Gauri Shanker (7134m).

This trek begins from Shigati, a small township near Charikot, an eleven-hour drive from Kathmandu. The trail following the course of river Tamakoshi on the way to Simigaon adds more thrills to the trek. The high glacial lake Tsho Rolpa is also a sight to behold.

  • Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu (1350m.) to Shigati (950m.) via Piguti (920m)10 hours.

    Stop At: Rolwaling Valley, Dolakha, Charikot 44600 Nepal
    The drive pass through gravel road crossing the different villages of mixed community. You have to cross the several streams and jungles with varieties of orchid, rhodendron and other natural vegetation.

    Day 2: Trek from Shigati to Jagat (1440m.) 7 hours.

    Stop At: Gaurishankar Conservation Area Project, Bulung Office, Unnamed Road, सिंगटी 45500, Nepal
    You trek through normal flat land along the side of the river. You pass through rice terraced. There are small villages on your way which are inhabited by mixed community. Several times, you cross the jungles covered by orchid, few rhododendron trees and wild vegetation. Now you cross a suspension bridge to reach Jagat, a small town resided by people of mixed culture.

    Day 3: Trek from Jagat to Simigaon (2020m.) 7 and 1/2 hours

    Stop At: Gaurishankar Conservation Area Project, Bulung Office, Unnamed Road, सिंगटी 45500, Nepal
    The first part of your trails follows normally flat path, then it ascends and descends through the jungle. Several places, you cross through suspension bridge. There are numerous villages on your way. You can find small teashops and local shops at some of the places. Steeply climb up to Simigaon, a village inhabited by Buddhist and few Hindus.

    Day 4: Trek from Simigaon to Daldung La (3976m.) 7 hours.

    Stop At: Gaurishankar Conservation Area Project, Bulung Office, Unnamed Road, सिंगटी 45500, Nepal
    On the route you come across the Sherpa villages. The uphill trek is rich in different varieties of plants and Rhododendron trees. After the uphill trek you will now come across ascending and descending paths while enjoying the scenic beauty of the place. If it happens to be a season you will witness the Yak Naka a temporary Yak shed especially for the preparation of cheese and butter.

    Day 5: Trek from Daldung La to Beding (3690m.) 7 and 1/2 hours.

    Stop At: Gaurishankar Conservation Area Project, Bulung Office, Unnamed Road, सिंगटी 45500, Nepal
    The trek now ascends uphill through different varieties of plants and Rhododendron trees. You trek over the suspension bridges over the deep gorges in few places making the trek even more enchanting. You finally reach Beding which is a big Sherpa village.

    Day 6: Rest day at Beding for acclimatization.

    You can hike in and around for acclimatization and have panoramic views of mountains like Mt. Gauri Shanker, Tibetan mountains of the Tibetan boarder.

    Day 7: Trek from Beding to Na (4180m.) 4 hours.

    Stop At: Gaurishankar Conservation Area Project, Singati Office, Dolakha, Singati 45500, Nepal
    This day you can explore the upper slopes of the valley for Snow Partridge or a visit to the nearby glacier lake. The trek path slightly ascends along the river bank. The place is an open path with fresh air and the charming sound of the river. You can have the panoramic view of the mountains as the trek moves forward. You will also come across the Sherpa village having their own specialties. You will be able to witness the various views of mountains like Gauri Shanker, Menlung, Yalung and mountains of the Tibet. On this day you can hike Tso Rolpa Lake for excursion. You will be able to witness the beautiful Natural Lake filled with the chilling water of the glaciers.

    Day 8: Trek from Na to Beding 5 hours.

    The path slightly descends along the river bank. You can enjoy panoramic views of Menlung, Gauri Shankar and many other unnamed mountains and peaks.

    Day 9: Trek from Beding to Daldung La (3976m.) 6 hours.

    The trek now descends downhill through different varieties of plants and Rhododendron trees. You trek over the suspension bridges over the deep gorges in few places making the trek even more enchanting.

    Day 10: Trek from Daldung La to Simigaon 6 hours.
