We passed through the neighborhood of La Cruz, which was one of the oldest in the city where an indigenous population lived, the Convent keeps the legends of the tree of thorns in the shape of a Cross, in the s. XVIII captured the water that came from the construction of the aqueduct to later distribute it to the population. In the S. XIX was the headquarters and later prison of the Emperor Maximilian of Habsburg before being shot on the Cerro de las Campanas.
