  • Day 1: Your Arrival

    Receive a hearty and become acquainted with where you will meet your Guides in this life-transforming Rites of Passage.

    Day 2: Holy Hills - Pokoasi

    Stop At: Pokoasi, Pokoasi, Greater Accra
    Relax yourself through fitness / yoga / breathing. Explore the area and join Camp Fire Power WORKSHOP to energize your male chakras and connect with the source of your Power.
    Duration: 6 hours

    Day 3: Kwabenya - Ghana

    Stop At: Kwabenya, Kwabenya, Greater Accra
    Survey farming workshops, learning organic farming techniques, home-making and craft tasks. By the end of the day, you will have explored and tested your productive capacities and survival skills.

    Day 4: Accra - Ghana

    Stop At: Accra, Accra, Greater Accra
    Accra at Night! Join a Night tour of the historic streets of Accra, taking in Jamestown and its surrounds. This is when Accra really comes alive and there are many local spots for eating, drinking and dancing. You might even take part in a 'Bless the Mic' contest where you can show your flow! This is also a great time to see some of the sites: including the Independence Square, and Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Gardens and meet with Ga elders.

    Day 5: The Eastern Region

    Stop At: Aburi, Aburi, Eastern Region
    Aburi, Eastern Region, Home to Rita Marley: try wood carving and make local crafts at the carver's village; then on to explore the stunning Aburi Botanical Gardens while grounds keepers explain the medicinal uses of these tropical plants; with a drawing workshop in the gardens. If there’s time and it’s the season, we will head to Dodowa waterfalls before returning home.

    Day 6: Pokoasi - Ghana

    Stop At: Pokoasi, Pokoasi, Greater Accra
    Invest yourselves in cultural orientation workshops, learning about Engagement and Marriage traditions in Ghana, and the duties for each role in a marriage; followed by the Camp fire Trust and Truth Experience, where Iron Sharpens Iron during this Deep Reasoning Session.

    Day 7: The Castle

    Stop At: Elmina Castle, Elmina Ghana
    Reconnect with your ancestors at the the U.N. World Heritage Site of Cape Coast Castle (video camera extra fee). Take part in a "Door of Return" ceremony, which you may feel gives you a sense of healing or grounding. Or just quietly reflect on this painful past. There is much to explore in this historic site, so take your time. It can be quite overwhelming and you will have many many questions.

    Day 8: The Chiefs

    Stop At: Kwabenya, Kwabenya, Greater Accra
    Naming ceremonies during which you will be given your Ghanaian name, chosen by your Guides in consultation with Spiritual Elders in the Community. Evening Celebrations to mark this Auspicious Day.


    Duration: 6 hours

    Day 9: Shai Hills

    Stop At: Shai Hills Resource Reserve, Akosombo-Tema Rd Ghana
    Shai Hills Nature Reserve: For the hikers and rock climbers, enjoy the views from the mountain ridges where puberty rites of passage are observed, and visit bat caves and learn of ancient kingdoms. After lunch in the village of Dodowa, take a 45 minute hike in the mystical forest of Dodowa to the seasonal Tsenku Falls, hear tales of the defeat of the Asantes by the British in 1826 at this sacred site.
    Duration: 7 hours

    Day 10: Pokoasi - Ghana

    Stop At: Pokoasi, Pokoasi, Greater Accra
    Spend a day exploring business avenues to enable you to Provide for your families, with visits to the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, Export Centre and Investment advisors. There will be local entertainment in the evening, and an opportunity to mix with the community and find new friends.
