Day 1 Cusco Valle Sagrado Huchuy Qosqo (3.450m / 11,318ft)
A day with a lot of magic and connection to the spiritual world. We leave Cusco by private transport towards the Sacred Valley. On our way, you can appreciate beautiful, natural landscapes until we arrive at the impressive archeological Inca site of Pisaq (3,400 m): with terraces, wellsprings, neighborhoods, observatories and a cemetery. A beautiful complex from where the Incas controlled and governed the Sacred Valley, this city was constructed among the high peaks of the Urubamba mountain chain. We will begin our visit walking until we arrive at the impressive astronomic point Inti Watana, to take some time for a meditation guided by our Andean shaman, recharging our positive energies.
Then, we will start the descent walking to the village of Pisaq to roam around its artisan market where a variety of textile, ceramics and silver work with precious stones are offered. After that, we will head by car for the village of Lamay to have a Pachamanca lunch prepared by our Homestay family. Pachamanca is an ancestral dish prepared on stones heated in a strong fire buried under the earth. It contains alpaca meat, trout, potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans and corn and - for the vegetarians – a variety of organic vegetables from the region. Afterwards, we continue our tour to a beautiful and quiet place called Huchuyqosqo, where our Homestay family will welcome us. After a nice dinner, we will hold the Ceremony of the Sacred bird, the Condor, around a wood fire. The Andean shaman will prepare the offering with the participation of the whole group to invoke the Apus (sacred mountains) and the Spirit of the Mountains, which is the Condor, and start the meditation to connect us with the Spiritual World and with Nature who will help us in our daily life. After the mediation the shaman will start to burn the offering, calling upon the spirits to protect us in every moment of our life.

    Duration: 6 hours

    Meals included:
    • Lunch: Pachamanca lunch prepared by our Homestay family
    • Dinner: prepared by our Homestay Family
    Accommodation included: Overnight at Homestay

Day 2: Day 2 Huchuyqosqo – Sacred Valley – Urubamba

Stop At: Sacred Valley of the Incas, 0051 Peru
After a nice breakfast, we will start to descend walking to Huchuy Qosqo about 15 minutes before sunrise to have a meditation to receive the energies of Inti Tayta (God, Father Sun), to connect us with the nature of the Andes and the Andean dawn. Then, we will walk around the archeological Inca site that has fine stonework, some residential and defensive sectors and interesting buildings of two plants in stone and adobe. Huchuy Qosqo is tiuated on a plateau, surrounded by agricultural terraces, and offers some incomparable views of the Vilcabamba mountain chain and the Sacred River (Wilcamayu). As we concluded our visit, we are going to the Condor lookout to enjoy the flight of the Sacred Condor as a present from nature and we will continue our tour by private transport to the valley of Urubamba to enjoy a lunch buffet. Afterwards, we will visit Homestay families, where they will offer us some activities, such as making chicha (the sacred drink of the Incas), and a demonstration of organic coffee brought from the jungle of Machupicchu. In the afternoon, before dinner, you may enjoy a steam bath with medicinal plants, have dinner and relax in your homestay.

After that, we will pass through the beautiful agricultural laboratory of Moray, continuing with a visit to the salt mine called Salineras. They are small plots, filled with salty water from the mountains that convert into salt by natural condensation. We will return to our homestay and have the afternoon off.

    Day 4: Day 4 Urubamba – Ollanta – Patacancha – Aguas Calientes

Stop At: Patacancha Valley, Patacancha Valley, Ollantaytambo Peru
A day of ceremonies and Spiritual Retreat. We will go to a place of much importance in the time of the Incas. It is a beautiful huaca (sacred rock) carved in an immense rock with the design of a Chacana or Andean Cross, that served as a place for ceremonies, rituals, offerings to Mother Nature and the Apus (sacred mountains), considered Gods. Unfortunately, it suffered some irreparable damage by treasure hunters. Even so, there is a beautiful ceremonial table where the Andean shaman prepares an offering for Mother Earth, the Pachamama, and for the participants a flower bath to clean any bad energies and ask for the realization of their wishes for their future daily life.
Continuing our journey we go to the valley of Patacancha to realice a beautiful lama ceremony, known ancestrally as Llama Ch’uyay (spiritual cleansing). We will be participating in this beautiful ceremony, each one of us making a k’intu with Sacred leaves to show our gratefulness to the Pachamama, the Apus, who protect the peoples and their cattle as guardians, and in the end, we will dance a traditional dance of the Wallata region, ‘goose of the Andes’. We then will return to Ollantaytambo and Aguas Calientes.

We have to leave our hotel very early in the morning to take a bus to Machu Picchu, the Magical City of the Incas, which is considered a jewel of Inca architecture with agricultural terraces, neighbourhoods, squares, streets, an astronomic observatory etc. Constructed upon the slopes of the mountain, in the middle of nature, it is considered one of the miracles of today’s world. UNESCO has recognized it as a part of the common Natural and Cultural Heritage of Mankind, as it was an important religious, political and administrative center in the epoch of the Inca. The altitude is about 2450 m. After exploring this Magical City, you may like to explore the mountain of Huayna Picchu. From the top of this mountain you can enjoy an impressing overview of the entire City of Machu Picchu. It is advised to make reservations months in advance, so please do not hesitate to contact us, if you like to include Huayna Picchu.
