    Stop At: Jinvali Water Reservoir, 40 km to the North from Tbilisi, Tbilisi Georgia

    On the scenic road to Kazbegi we'll stop at the best photography spot along the shore of Jinvali Reservoir. If you're looking to capture a collection of landscape photos be prepared to be inspired and about exploring.

    Stop At: Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble, Georgian Military Highway Near Zhinvali Reservoir, Ananuri 1803 Georgia

    Ananuri was a castle and seat of the eristavis (Dukes) of Aragvi, a feudal dynasty which ruled the area from the 13th century. The castle was the scene of numerous battles. The fortress includes a pair of churches and an 12th-century defensive tower inside.

    Stop At: Russian Georgian Friendship Monument, Georgian Military Highway, Gudauri 383085 Georgia

    A cylinder monument, erected in 1983 celebrating the bicentennial of the Treaty of Georgievsk and adorned with stylized scenes from Georgian and Russian histories and fairy tales, is located next to the famous ski resort Gudauri and looks out over Devil's Valley and majestic snow-capped mountains

    Gudauri is the ski resort located on the south-facing plateau of The Greater Caucasus Mountain Range, along the Georgian Military Highway near the Cross Pass, at an elevation of 2,200 meters, above sea level.

    Stop At: Gergeti Trinity Church, Near the Village of Gergeti, Stepantsminda Georgia

    Stepantsiminda is known for its scenic location in the Greater Caucasus mountains, and is a center for trekkers and mountain climbing. Local attractions include the Gergeti Trinity Church outside of town, the alpine meadows and forests of the surrounding Kazbegi Nature Reserve. The town is dominated by large mountains on all sides. The most notable mountain of the region, Mount Kazbek (or Mkinvartsveri), lies immediately to the west of town. It is the third highest mountain in Georgia (5047 m) and is surrounded by myths and legends. Gergeti Trinity Church, located 2170 meters above sea level, dates back to the 14th century and served as a safe place for precious relics in times of danger.
