TERANGA AFRICA TOURS offers a half-day city tour of Dakar. the driver guide will pick you up in your hotel and take you directly to the site of visit.
here is the program to do in dakar
      - downtown plateau: we will cross the beautiful streets of Dakar while visiting the old colonial buildings and others.

      - Kermel market: Kermel, a privileged witness to the history of Dakar, does not have the crowds of big days at the moment. This centenary market is located in the center of the Senegalese capital. It is a place for meetings and cultural exchanges between lovers of art, crafts and various quality products.

      - independence square: Dakar, founded in 1857 by Captain Protet, superior commander of Gorée, was the only real city in French Black Africa until 1939

      - The Dakar train station: the first train station in West Africa, was inaugurated on July 6, 1885.

-The Sandaga market: one of the largest dakar markets rich in colors and rhymed by a unique atmosphere; you can find all kinds of products there not to mention too many

-The museum of black civilizations: The birth of the MCN has its roots in the 1966 World Festival of Negro Arts, itself preceded by various events. Let us quote the Congresses of black writers and artists held respectively in Paris in 1956 and in Rome in 1959:

-the medina district: Dominated by the minaret of the Grand Mosque, the Dakar Medina is the African district of the capital. Tangled streets, small shops and Tilene market, tailors at work, incessant entertainment ... A popular and lively district, just behind the Plateau.
