Guided tour: Cuenca + Cathedral
On our tour we will enjoy the impressive views of the sickles of Júcar and Huécar and we will know the most emblematic corners of the old town.
We will cross the Plaza Mayor and head towards the San Pablo bridge area. In this vertiginous iron walkway that crosses the sickle of the Huécar River we will enjoy one of the best views of the hanging houses of Cuenca, emblem of the city of Cuenca. Inside we will visit what is "the most beautiful little museum in the world",
in the words of the founder and first director of the MOMA of New York, Alfred H. Barr.
To end our tour we will visit the Cathedral of Cuenca. Nicknamed "The Cathedral of Light" is the fifth largest temple in the entire national territory and is considered the "laboratory" of the Gothic in Spain. Its stained glass windows, its chapels, its history, and its spectacular views from the triforium or from the viewpoints of its cloister towards the sickle of Huécar, make this an essential guided tour.
