      St. Lukes in the Fields is a parish that is nearly 200 years old. It is connected with Trinity Church, which is one of the oldest Churches in America.

      The Jefferson Market Library was Built in 1871. It was once one of the tallest buildings in NY and it was known as the Jefferson Market Court House. Since 1958 it has been part of the New York Public Library.

      Its Striking red brick, Romanesque Revival-style exterior, and grand size is what makes the Archives Building a visible landmark in the Greenwich Village. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings because it was once the Federal Archives Building.

      The Church of St. Luke in the Field is one of the oldest churches in Manhattan, it was founded in 1820 created in the Federal Style, a style which celebrated the recent American Revolution. The Fields in its name refers to the pastoral nature of the land it was founded on.
