Day 1: Al Sharqiya Region
Stop At: Wadi Shab, 50km West of Sur, Sur 411 Oman
Wadi Shab is a very popular outdoor attraction for both locals and expats, and people come here for the nature, to swim in the fresh water pools or just to have a barbecue. The main attraction of the wadi is the water fall in the cave, which you can reach after a roughly 40 mins hike and swimming in 2-3 pools.

Wadi Dayqah Dam is an impressive sight, with so much water for a region like Oman. You can have some good relaxing time here and enjoy a nice picnic on the well maintained grass.

Stop At: Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve, Ras Al Jinz, Sur 411 Oman
Ras Al Jinz is a fishing village located in the Ras Al Hadd, on the eastern shores of the Arabian Peninsula. The Ras Al Jinz beach is world renown for the nesting endangered green turtle (Chelonia mydas), probably the most important nesting concentration on the Indian Ocean. This is the only official place where the public can watch the nesting process of these amazing sea giants.

Stop At: Wadi Bani Khalid, Road 23 apprx. 40 km from Bidiyyah Muscat-Sur Road, Muscat 113 Oman
Wadi Bani Khalid Oman is one of the most famous wadis in the Sultanate and after seeing the pictures below you will understand why. A short walk takes you to large emerald pools and a narrow zigzagging canyon filled with giant white boulders.
