For several centuries, France had a strong cultural influence on St Petersburg, the former capital of the Russian Empire.     The guide will talk about the project of creating the largest cathedral in the country, which took more than 40 years to be completed. St Isaac's Cathedral was designed by Auguste Montferrand, a French architect.
