    Drive to Bago which is an ancient kingdom of Mon people known as Hanthawaddy. It is located 50 miles north-east of Yangon (2 hr driving).
    Sightseeing in Bago includes the Kanbawzathardi Palace of King Bayinnaung who established the largest empire in the history of Southeast Asia. By 825 Mons had founded the cities of Bago (Pegu) and Thaton. By the mid-9th century, they had come to dominate all of southern Myanmar.

    The 7.3 meters-tall pagoda is consecrated on the top of a big balancing boulder known as "The Golden Rock", at the top of Mount Kyaiktiyo. A strand of Buddha’s hair enshrined inside the pagoda is widely believed to prevent the rock from tumbling down the mountain. The Kyaiktiyo Pagoda is one of the most important religious sites in Myanmar and a must-go destination for devout Buddhists. It is the third most important Buddhist pilgrimage site in Burma after the Shwedagon Pagoda and the Mahamuni Pagoda
    Our transport will stop at Kinpun village, at the base of the mountain where you will ride an open passenger truck and cable car to the summit.

    Day 2: Yangon Departure

    Stop At: Kyaiktiyo, Kyaiktiyo, Mon State
    After breakfast, visit vicinity of the Kyaiktiyo Pagoda by walking along foot tracks before returning to Yangon. Then, back to the base camp by open sharing truck and drive to Yangon.

    Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

    Transfer to hotel or Yangon International airport for departure.
