Everest Base Camp Trekking 12 Days

We will use Lukla Airport for 12 days of Everest Trekking. Lukla doesn't have any special sights, but the airport and hotels make it a place where trekker can heal the tiredness of traveling. Follow the road down to the Dukosh River to Pak Din. From there, walk into Sagarmatha National Park and walk straight to Namche, one of the busiest parts of the mountain. It once flourished as a place of trade for the region. Narrow trails for merchants and livestock give life to the trail. Namche is home to a mountain museum where many art and mountain related souvenirs are displayed. At Everest View Hotel, close to Namche, you can enjoy a cup of tea overlooking Everest.

A swaying wooden suspension bridge spans a winding mountain path around hills and valleys. Crossing these suspension bridges over the Imja Cola and the Dudukosi River, you will find grasslands and river basins with huge rocks rolling around. You will often see sights of yaks carrying their luggage and seeing the Sherpa people traverse the mountains for daily life, but you will find them very humble. Passing along the side of Cholten and Gompa, you will arrive at Timboche Monastery, famous for its monks. Enjoy panoramic views of Everest, Tamselk, Condi-Li, Ama Dablam, Tawache, Nuptse, Kusum Kangar, Pumori and Makalu from the forest where wildlife and birds gaze in a glimpse of the forest.

On the 7th day of the Everest trek, you will arrive at the Everest Base Camp (5,300 m). This is a place where a powerful glacier approaches and a long-term stay by a mountaineering squad aiming to climb Everest in the spring.

On the 8th day, climb to Kala Patthar (5,545 m). Watching the morning sun and the sunset with beautiful Everest will be a memory you will never forget.

Nepal Sightseeing Trex offers attractive package tours on the Everest Mountain Trek. We will create a plan after examining customer needs and preferences in detail. It depends on the period, time, cost, physical strength, etc.
