    Stop At: Kintsvisi Monastery, Kintsvisi Georgia

    At 09:00, our guide and driver will meet you at the pickup place to begin our tour.
    At 11:00, will visit Kintsvisi Monastery, located in the picturesque gorge of the Dzama river. The date of its construction is not known exactly, it is supposed to be in 1200. The monastery refers to the Golden Age of the country’s history. The walls of the main temple are decorated with frescoes,they date back to 1205. Most of the frescoes of the temple were badly damaged: faces were disguised in frescoes. One building on the territory of the monastery is much older. It’s masonry is a thousand years old, which was laid in the X-XI century. This building is the oldest in the complex. It survived even during the earthquake of 1940, when part of the main temple collapsed into the gorge.From the beginning of the two thousandth it became a men’s monastery. We will have one hour to explore this unique place. At 12:00, we will leave the territory of Kintsvisi.

    Stop At: Ortubani, Georgia

    At 12:30, we will visit Mdzovreti historical city of Georgia, located in the gorge of the river Dzama. The architectural ensemble of Mdzovreti includes a palace, a tower, a church and others, mainly built in the 17th century. Every year a celebration is held here in honor of the great Georgian figure, Zaza Tsitsishvili-Panaskerteli, because this great figure was the ruler of these lands and he built the fortress of Mdzovreti. In this place were located Tsitsishvili Palace and the famous baths. These Baths are still preserved in Ortubani. There are many sights on the territory of Kareli region, but among them the Mdzovreti ensemble is one of the most distinguished, because it does not look like other monuments of that period and is built with very strange architecture. Mdzovreti castle complex includes also unique Mothers' Monastery of Ortubani. We will stay there for one hour and at 13:30 head to our next destination.

    Stop At: Sarkineti, Georgia

    At 13:45, we will visit Sarkineti Monastery carved out in the rock. Church is located in the village of Sarkineti, Kareli region. The church was opened and consecrated on October 20, 2011 by Metropolitan Iob. It is convenient to enter the temple from a 5-meter corridor, which is cut into the rock. According Iob, the church carved out in the rock was no longer built after the 14th century in Georgia and this Church was the first to be built in a rock after the 14th century. We will have half an hour to discover this amazing place. At 14:45, we will leave the territory of Sarkineti.

    At 15:00, we will have opportunity to relax and have lunch in the restaurant. We will taste Georgian traditional cuisine and enjoy with environment. We will have one hour for lunch.

    Stop At: Bateti Lake, Georgia

    At 16:30, we will reach one of the most beautiful Bateti lake, located in the Dzama gorge. The Bateti Lake is a classical landslip lake surrounded by forest slopes. The water is transparent and fresh. The landslide that generated the lake came from the South. It has uneven surface and is covered with tall forest. Southern part of the lake is swampy. We will stay and enjoy with surroundings until 18:00.
    At 20:30, we will come back to Tbilisi.

    At the evening , around 20:30, we will come back to Tbilisi.
