Stop At: Capilla Virgen Purificada de Canincunca, Kilometro 41 pista Cusco - Urcos Distrito de Huaro, Cusco 08000 Peru

Located on an old wari center, next to the Urcos lagoon, Canincunca receives its name by the opening or neck in which it is located on the route that connects Cusco with Puno.

The chapel began to be built at the beginning of the 17th century and consists of a single nave, whose internal walls are richly decorated with wall paintings and gold leaf belts.

Many of them represent flowers, fruits, birds and symbols reminiscent of pallais, the geometric designs that Andean weavers make in their beautiful textiles.

    Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Templo San Juan Bautista de Huaro, Plaza de Armas, Huaro 08215 Peru

His style is Renaissance and retains more than 60 sculptures and 50 canvases of great quality and beauty, in addition to silverware, altarpieces and other movable goods.

Built at the end of the 16th century and the beginning of the 17th century, the impressive mural paintings of its interior stand out, covering all the ceilings and walls.

These paintings, made by Tadeo Escalante, a painter from Cusco, show the endings of the human being, that is, the journey through death, the final judgment, glory and hell, and are defined by the union of the Andean symbology, beliefs popular, its nature and colonial art.

    Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: San Pedro Apostol de Andahuaylillas, Calle Tacna No 302, Andahuaylillas 08210 Peru

It is believed that there was already a small chapel built on an Inca temple that functioned as a reduction of Indians in the late 16th century. The temple, as we know it, began to be built from 1610 on the initiative of the parish priest Juan Pérez de Bocanegra.

Inside, two beautifully painted organs that are considered the oldest in Latin America are preserved.

The artistic majesty is also reflected in the Mudejar coffered ceiling, the great variety and richness of the canvases - such as the series dedicated to Saint Peter the Apostle, patron of the town -, the polychrome of the ceilings and the triumphal arch that separates the presbytery of The main ship.

The baptistery preserves the baptismal formula in Latin, Spanish, Quechua, Aymara and Puquina on its front page.

The paintings that adorn the walls are framed with huge cedar wood moldings and gold leaf.

    Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Rumicolca, 3S 418, Cusco 08210, Peru

The Cover of Rumiqolqa is located in the eastern sector of the pre-Hispanic city of Pikillacta, this cover was one of the main revenues towards the city of Cusco and departure to the Qollasuyo.

    Duration: 15 minutes

    Stop At: Tipon, Cusco Peru

It is the most important archaeological center regarding the Inca hydraulic wisdom: Tipón, it was a major shrine where the water was worshiped with the care and veneration that the Incas treated this element. This complex has been distinguished by the American Society of Civil Engineers as a marvel of Civil Engineering.
