Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Fogo Island - Day Tour & Ferry Trip to Brava

Stop At: São Filipe Airport, Sao Filipe, Cape Verde
Be welcomed by our professional driver at São Filipe Airport and enjoy a private island tour including free time at the natural pool of Salina. Our team will also take you from door to door with complete security and professionalism, providing all relevant information about your stay.

Stop At: Sao Filipe, Sao Filipe, Fogo
Move on towards São Filipe, the capital of the island. There explore “Sobrados” and wander around this charming little town lined with colorful colonial houses. Next, head to the small Municipal Museum and appreciate the simplicity of the objects that portray the local history. Move on to Salinas, and enjoy a dip into Salina’s natural pool, and watch fishermen returning to shore with the day’s catch. After a delicious lunch in a local atmosphere, drive northwards to the village of Mosteiros and stroll up the lava flows created by the 1951 eruption, a succession of jagged, dark intrusions on the landscape. Head to the eastern coast to reach the village of Cova Figueira. Enjoy a photo stop at Achada Furna and Cabeça Fundão along the way.

Finally, get drive to the village of Forno, and visit local farmers with their agricultural fields. The tour concludes with drop-off at your Fogo Harbour.
