On this tour, we will be visiting: San Antonio Park and its church, Barrio Boston with its main park. Panoramic on La Playa Avenue and the "Bellas Artes" Palace (it is the enclosure that Master Botero donated for the dissemination of art in the city) We will walk through Botero Square, Palace of Culture and enter to the Museum of Antioquia.

On this tour, we will follow the steps of the famous Colombian artist Fernando Botero. He created and donated the abstract bronze sculptures that you can find all around the city center. The sculptures, which are created in the form of giant bodies, body parts or animals, are a popular tourist attraction. To start the tour, we will pick you up from your hotel. Our first stop will be San Antonio Park. In this park, you can find 23 sculptures of Botero. But without a doubt, the most known sculpture is a broken bird. In June 1995 a terror attack, which occurred in San Antonio Park, destroyed the bird and killed 30 and injured more than 200 people. Today the bird functions as a monument for the victims and is supposed to embody the resilience of the city.
