  • Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

    After arrival in Kathmandu Airport, a representative from Mayur Adventures picks you up and takes you to your hotel. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

    Day 2: Trek Preparation in Kathmandu

    Stop At: Kathmandu, Kathmandu, Kathmandu Valley, Bagmati Zone, Central Region
    We will be ready for our Annapurna Circuit Trek today. We will prepare all the stuffs that are required for our trip. Later we check our trekking gear and involved in an introductory session with our trekking guide to discuss about our trip. Overnight stay at hotel in Kathmandu.

    Day 3: Drive to Khudi (7-8 Hrs Drive)

    Stop At: Khudi Bazaar, 33600, Nepal
    We start our trip with a journey into the hills on twisty roads and hairpin bends along the Trishuli River. We then divert off the highway to the bustling town of Dumre and continue an hour and half to Besisahar. We then complete our drive half an hour further to reach Khudi, where we start our trek with the first glimpse of gorgeous Manaslu. Overnight stay at Khudi.

    Day 4: Khudi - Sirung (6-7 Hrs)

    Stop At: Annapurna Region, Annapurna Region, Gandaki Zone, Western Region
    The trail begins covering scenic beauties, flourishing from waterfalls, suspension bridges and forests on the way. The work includes several ascents and descents while the mountains we see from Khudi seem nearer as we approach towards it. We finally reach Sirung to see the admiral Nadi Chuli and Manaslu Himal.

    Day 5: Sirung - Jagat (6-7 Hrs)

    Stop At: Annapurna Circuit, Manang Nepal
    Today is comparatively easy trail as we leave the locality of village and head towards forest, ferns and woodland enriched by various beautiful birds. We passed through several small settlements and small temples on the way. Suspension bridges and waterfalls on the way makes the trail more cheerful. We reach Jagat to have an overnight stay.

    Day 6: Jagat - Dharapani (7-8 Hrs)

    Stop At: Annapurna Mountain Range, 33500 Nepal
    We will have slightly long walk today but the journey begins slowly from Jagat descending to the river and continuing through a verdant forest. After ascending to sharp edged cliff, Chamje is seen in the amidst of magnificent background of towering Annapurna mountains. After crossing another suspension bridge, we climb steeply through the challenging path to Sattale. A short descent will lead us to Taal. Crossing Taal village and meandering along the waterfalls and cliffs, we finally reach Dharapani.

    Day 7: Dharapani - Chame (5-6 Hrs)

    Stop At: Annapurna Mountain Range, 33500 Nepal
    We will start today’s trail with few forested ridges on our way to Chame. Astounding views of himalayas including Annapurna II, Annpurna IV and Lamjung Himal can be seized on the way. We may end our day with hotspring dip to tranquilize our sore muscles. Overnight stay at Chame.

    Day 8: Chame - Pisang (5-6 Hrs)

    Stop At: Annapurna Mountain Range, 33500 Nepal
    Today, our journey starts as we walk through narrow path in a dense forest followed by a substancial root carved through the vertical rock hill by the river. The achrobhobic way stands 1500m above the river and is probably the steepest part of Marsyangdi Valley. We now cross two long bridges at an approximate elevation of 3000m, from where the views of the majestic vista of Paungda Danda rock begins to appear. This is a gigantic slope naked rock hill stretching upto 1500m above the trail route. We can now choose to head towards either Lower Pisang or Upper Pisang seperated by Marsyangdi River. To observe exalted jaw dropping views, we recommend to walk to Upper pisang for an overnight rest.

    Day 9: Pisang - Manang (4 Hrs)

    Stop At: Annapurna Mountain Range, 33500 Nepal
    Today we continue through drier upper part descending towards the junction to meet the way to Manang from alternative lower Pisang route at Mungi. Ont this way, the southern route by Humde with its airfieled at 3325m involves less climbing than the norther route via Gheru, though there is better view on the trail that follows the norther bank of the river. We continue to Braga at 3475m where resides beautiful 700 years old monastry. From here we walk an hour and a half in almost plain terrain to reach Manang at 3500m. The trail guarantees excellent views of beautiful langscape and mighty mountains including Annapurna and Pisang.

    Day 10: Rest and Acclimatization Day in Manang

    Stop At: Annapurna Mountain Range, 33500 Nepal
    For a healthy trekking, it is necessary to spare a rest day here above 3500m for acclimatization. We will have a beautiful sight seeing day as there are lots of place to wander in Manang. Many people go hiking to ice lake or near by excursions. We will relax in the Gangapurna lake situated at the foot of Annapurna and Gangapurna peak where we can behold the majestic scenario of whole snow covered Gangapurna mountain melting slowly to change into Gangapurna lake. We see ice caves in Gangapurna Himal at front, and the Manang valley at back. We may take training sessions regarding information to tackle altitude sickness. Manang is an incredibly beautiful valley and is also known to be an existing sacred Kingdom. It is highly rich with cultural shockers.

    Day 11: Manang - Yak Kharka (4 Hrs)

    Stop At: Annapurna Mountain Range, 33500 Nepal
    We depart from Manang crossing a stream and climbing to a village of Tenki. As we move forward, air gets thinner as the altitude gradually increases. Continuing along Jarsang Khola Valley to the north, we pass across a few pastures and a scrub of juniper trees. Now the trail goes through meadows where horses and Yaks graze. After a few hours of walk uphill, we reach Yak Kharka where we find a lot of trekking lodges to stay.

    Day 12: Yak Kharka - Thorang Phedi (3-4 Hrs)

    Stop At: Annapurna Mountain Range, 33500 Nepal
    Today, we start with walking through relatively plain wide land with cold dry meadows and tiny bushes scattered to reach Leddar village. Further trail from Leddar includes uphill walk to Thorang Phedi. We cover comparatively short distance to reach Thorang Phedi, but the trail will not be easy as anticipated due to cold dry climate and high altitude. We ascend and pass through towering cliffs before reaching Thorang Phedi, the last locale prior to the Thorang La Pass. On the way, we are previlleged with the best views of Mt. Gundnang, Mt. Syagang, Thorang Peak and Mt. Katungkan. There are two renowned hotels in Thorang Phedi. We will have a comfortable stay there to prepare ourselves for the next day which will be the most difficult and beautiful trail of our adventure.

    Day 13: Thorang Phedi - Muktinath (3800m/12467 ft) via Thorang La Pass (5416m/17764ft) (7-8 Hrs)

    Stop At: Thorangla Pass, Manang Nepal
    Today we cross Thorang La Pass (one of the highest passes in the world). This is going to be a long trail, and to escape windy afternoon, we start our trail early viz. before 4 a.m. in the morning.The journey from Phedi (foot of the hill) to the 5416m Thorang La Pass will include steep and gradual climbings. The altitude will be challenging, so will be the hills if covered by snow. After 5 hours of climb, we reach Thorang La Pass marked with Chortens and Buddhist prayer flags. Stunning views of the Himalayas and sunshines over these Himalayas are the rewards we receive on the way and on the top for accomplishing the hard climb. A small tea cafe is located at the pass for our service. After a long refreshment on the top, we gradually descend to Muktinath (3800m) to an elevation drop of around 1600m. Our biggest adventure day will come to an end with a goodnight sleep at Muktinath.

    Day 14: Muktinath - Marpha (4-6hrs)

    Stop At: Marpha Monastery, Marpha Nepal
    Muktinath is a holy place and is regarded as an important pilgrimage for Hindus and Buddhists. After our visit to Muktinath, we descend from Ranipauwa down the steep and distorted hill to Kagbeni. The barren land of this area bear resemblance to the Tibetan plateau. We then proceed to Jomsom followed by Marpha, the land of apples, where we can find varieties of edibles and liquors fabricated from apples.

    Day 15: Marpha - Tatopani (3-4 Hrs Drive)

    Stop At: Annapurna Mountain Range, 33500 Nepal
    From Marpha, we take a local bus or Jeep today to reach Tatopani (hotspring) via Ghasa. The deep into the hotspring is necessary for body relaxation and to get rid of the muscle soreness and achiness.

    Day 16: Tatopani - Ghorepani (7-8Hrs)

    Stop At: Annapurna Mountain Range, 33500 Nepal
    The trail is going to be relatively hard and wrong as we hike again to Ghorepani. Climbing the perfect gradient slope of the hills will require extra strenuous effort. On the way, we pass through Shikha and Chitre (the Brahmin and Magar indegeneous peoples’ settlement) before reaching to beautiful Rhododendron forest. Walking further we reach Ghorepani, a beautiful village located at the ridge. Overnight stay at Ghorepani.

    Day 17: Ghorepani - Poonhill - Birethani - Drive to Pokhara (6-8 Hrs)

    Stop At: Annapurna Mountain Range, 33500 Nepal
    We start our day with an early morning hike to Poonhill (3210m) where we can seize the sunrise view over mount Dhaulagiri, Vahara Sikhar, Nilgiri, Tukuche peak, Annapurna I, Lamjung Himal and other snow-capped mountain peaks of that range. Views from Poonhill is actually mesmerizing as this view point is regarded as the most popular trekking destination of the Annapurna region. Views include close-up views of Mustang, Pokhara and more than 20 of the highest peaks including Annapurna and Dhauligiri ranges. The snowy peaks of mountains loom large around us smouldering in the morning sunshine. After breakfast we head to Birethani with 6 hours walking followed by an hour and a half drive to Pokhara via Nayapool.

    Day 18: Pokhara - Kathmandu (30-40 mins flight)

    After the meal, we will fly back from Pokhara to Kathmandu where we can help you with shopping or to stroll at Thamel street. There will be a farewell dinner in the evening to celebrate success in completion of our Annapurna Circuit Trek. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.
