Amazing Tanzania Cycling Safari

Day 1: Kilimanjaro International Airport–Moshi.

Pass By: Moshi, Moshi, Kilimanjaro Region
Arrive Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will meet by a Kibosho Tours representative and transferred to your hotel in Moshi. Evening briefing at hotel to prepare you for the climb ahead, followed by group dinner, an opportunity for the group to get to know each other before the climb.

Day 2: Marangu/Kilema Gate–Horombo Hut.

Pass By: Horombo Road, Horombo Rd, Tanzania
• You will be picked from your Hotel at 8:30 am, This morning we drive through Kilimanjaro’s semi-tropical foothills to Marangu Gate, Spend some minutes for registrations and get the permit and then drive to Kilema gate and enter Kilimanjaro National park and start the riding, Up to Horombo H Today is 100% cycling by bike.

Day 3: Full Day Horombo Acclimatization.

Pass By: Horombo - Mawenzi Trail, Tanzania
After breakfast you start your cycling, riding through Alpine desert, some of the areas you will riding on small stone, up to Mawenzi Hut and back to Horombo.
Today is 90% riding Vegetation “Alpine desert Cycling distance: 10 Km

Day 4: Horombo – Kibo Hut (4703 M)

Pass By: Horombo Road, Horombo Rd, Tanzania
After breakfast you will continue with riding to Kibo Hut, you will ride on small stone in most areas.
Cycling today is 90%. Vegetation: Alpine Desert

Day 5: Kibo Hut–Summit (5895 M)–Horombo Hut (3720M).

Stop At: Kilimanjaro National Park, Kilimanjaro National Park, Kilimanjaro Region
At 4 am, you will be awakened by your guides to start the zigzag trek up a long screen slop after roughly two hours you should reach Hans Meyer’s Cave and from here the gradient gets steeper. Continue your climb for approximately another 3 hours to Gilman’s Point, You will take your bike from Porters and start riding to Uhuru peak, arriving at Uhuru peak spends some few minutes or photos and then riding down to Stella Point. After lunch ride down to Horombo
Today cycling, from Kibo to Uhuru and then Kibo 15%-20%, from Kibo to Horombo 100%. Vegetation “Alpine desert /Icecap

Day 6: Horombo Hut (3720M)–Kilema gate (1800M)

Pass By: Mount Kilimanjaro, Kilimanjaro National Park 40000 Tanzania
After a leisurely breakfast, make your final riding down to Kilema gate across the alpine and the rainforest to Kilema gate, then you will be transferred to Marangu gate for check out and then to your Hotel.
Dinner and Overnight at the Panama Garden Resorts hotel.

Day 7: Transfer for Moshi – Manyara

Stop At: Lake Manyara National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Arusha Region
We be transfer from Moshi to Manyara at 7:00 am after you breakfast at the hotel.
Followed by social activities like visiting local schools and orphanage center by cycling towards the villages in Mto wa Mbu.
Dinner and overnight at Kizumba Camp.

Day 8: Manyara - Ngorongoro Crater

Stop At: Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania
After breakfast you be transfer to Ngorongoro conservation area gate and check-in and you will descend into the crater; enjoy full day game drive in the crater.
We will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor
Late afternoon drive back to Rhino Lodge.

Day 9: Bike tour Nainokanoka – Empakai – Nainokanoka

Stop At: Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Arusha Region
After breakfast you will be transferred to starting point of Nainokanoka, and heading to Empakai crater approximated 31.5km from starting point Nainokanoka.
Empakai crater is considered the most beautiful crater in Tanzania. The view from the crater rim, where our long cycling safari finish, is an amazing unforgettable experience.The bike path crosses a leafy tropical forest where the sounds of the jungle will invade us.Embulbul DepressionIt is a great plain in the foothills of the third highest mountain in Tanzania. Lolmalasin Mountain. The views offer an inspiring landscape, a challenge for adventurous cyclists.Maasai ExperienceAbout 200 years ago, the Masai came to Ngorongoro and since then maintain their traditional way of life that allows them to live in harmony with wildlife and the environment.Please be sensitive to the fact that it is considered rude to take photographs of people along the roadside without consent.Oldoinyo LengaiIn route we will have stunning views of the sacred mountain in the Maasai culture. A volcano of epic dimensions and a sublime beauty.
There after we will go back to Nainokanoka and dinner and overnight at Kizumba camp in Manyara.

Day 10: Pickup and transfer to Kilimanjaro International airport.
