In it we can see the ritual of physical and spiritual cleansing. One of the best preserved public Arab baths on the peninsula. The Paseo de los Tristes, whose official name is Paseo del Padre Manjón, is known by this name because it was the place where funeral processions passed on their way to the cemetery. To the left of the Paseo de los Tristes, in front of the Alhambra, was the neighborhood of Los Axares, which means "of health and delight", which they also called the Hospital of Africa, for its beauty and the temperance of its climate. It is one of the first corner doors of Hispanic-Muslim architecture and was one of the access points to the Zirí wall, which separated the Albaicín from the Alcazaba Qadima (Vieja) neighborhood.
