Later Craiova was built around 1400 when, on the initiative of the Craiovesti boyars, the Great Bania of Craiova was founded. Craiova is associated with many names with historical resonance, of which the great rulers: Neagoe Basarab and Radu de Afumati who rest in Curtea de Arges, the brave Matei Basarab buried in Arnota, the Serban Cantacuzino of Comana, the one who gave the name to the Bucharest's largest cemetery, the saint Constantin Brancoveanu, the brothers Gheorghe Bibescu and Barbu Stirbey. Unforgettable also Mihai Viteazul, Iancu Jianu and Tudor Vladimirescu - the leader of the revolution since 1821, the boyars of Vorvoreanu, Romanescu, Oteteliseanu, Petrache Poenaru - the inventor of the tank pen, Nicolae Titulescu - the only two-time diplomat elected by the Society of Nations, the precursor of the United Nations, Henry Coanda - the inventor of the jet plane, Eugen Carada - the founder of the BNR, Constantin Brancusi and the painters Theodor Aman, Constantin Lecca, Corneliu Baba, Francisc Sirato, Ion Tuculescu. di Craiova, in Ruins, near the Jitianu monastery, was successful in the battle of Mircea cel Batran against Baiazid. Day 2: Baile Herculane - The Danube boilers - Veterans cave - Macronia Monastery - Portile de Fier Museum

Pass By: Muzeul Regiunii Portilor de Fier / Iron Gates Museum, Str. Independentei Nr. 2, Drobeta-Turnu Severin 220160 Romania
After breakfast we continue towards the closure of the Danube. The Danube cliff or the Danube gorge is a geographical region along the northern bank of the Danube, south of Banat. It circulates in tourist steam. On one side, rocky hills, with parks and natural reserves, with secular forests protected by plant varieties and birds unique in the world. And on the other, the lazy thread of the Danube. Nature lovers will be delighted by the rare trees and shrubs, the mulberry colonies. The largest settlements in the closure of the Danube are Orsova and Moldavia Noua. The statue of Decebal is framed by a wonderful natural landscape, where the Carpathians sink their feet into the Danube and competes in this respect with the most famous Statue of Liberty in New York, which surpasses it in height with only six meters. The Veterans' Grot has always been the focus of treasure hunters around the world, who claim that the famous silver treasure of Empress Maria Theresa of the Austro-Hungarian Empire or the treasures of Serbian Tsar Obrenovici would have been hidden . Today we also see the Danube boilers. The Danube is one of the spectacular rivers of Europe and upon entering Romania, visitors have a fascinating landscape. The boilers are about 9 km long. In some places the Danube narrows to 230 m, making navigation difficult. The river is bordered by vertical rocky walls. Where the Danube narrows and the currents are nervous in the Strait of the Boilers, the Mraconia Monastery is, so to speak, guarded, anchored well under the surrounding waters of the river. The construction of the Portile de Fier hydroelectric plant caused the demolition of the old settlement in 1967, with its ruins flooded with water. Orsova is a municipality in the Mehedinți county, Banat, Romania. It is located on the shore of the accumulation lake Portile de Fier I on the Danube, in the discharge area of the Cerna river in the Danube. Orsova is renowned for its tranquility and serenity.

Pass By: Eftimie Murgu 327190, Romania
In the morning, after breakfast departure for Rudaria aqua mills. One of the fascinating places in Romania is the complex located in Banat, in the county of Caraş-Severin. These are the 22 water mills in the Rudariei valley, which still work. Therefore, tourists arriving in the village of Eftimie Murgu can see how the grain is ground as it was in the Dacian times and can receive flour from the villagers. Therefore, Rudaria's stitched water mills challenge not only time, but also modern technology. Bigar waterfall is formed by a source of groundwater, which flows on a limestone wall. Repeatedly declared as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world, Bigar Waterfall has, since last year, a tourist route specially designed to be visited safely. In fact, The World Geography ranked Bigar Waterfall in first place in the ranking of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world created in 2013.
