Day 2 - Morning visit of the city of Durres. Durres is Albania's second largest city (about 220,000 inhabitants) and home to the largest port in the country, a transit mandatory for various Albanian cities. Durres was founded by the Illyrians in the 13th century BC. It expanded greatly thanks to the tribe of Taulanti in the 9th century BC, who made it the capital. It became an important port of the Roman period (was also known as the "Tavern of the Adriatic" by the Romans). During this period, an interesting amphitheater (the largest in the Balkans) was built, and it is known as the period of greatest splendor of the city. Thanks to "Via Egnatia", which connected the Adriatic with Constantinople, it became a strategic transit point for both merchants and goods. A visit to the amphitheater of the Roman era (the largest in the Balkans), to the historic sites of the city (the Venetian tower, Ottoman walls, etc.) and a visit to the modern city (the City Hall Square, the Promenade, the Boulevard). Fish lunch served in a restaurant on the beach area. Dinner and evening will be at your leisure.

Day 3 - Departure from Durres to the city of Berat (special status on the UNESCO restrictions). Visit to the old, historic part of the city and the Onufri museum housed in the "Dominion of the Virgin Mary ancient Orthodox Cathedral".  Lunch will be served in Berat.  Arrival in Tirana (Albania's capital which has almost one million inhabitants; nearly a third of the Albanian population is located in there). Tirana is a business city par excellence, similar to a western city for its quality of life and the lifestyle of the inhabitants. The night life is in fact like any other European city, quite different from all other Albanian cities. They speak Italian, and especially English. A visit of the city including Tirana Skanderbeg Square, the Mosque of Ethem Bey, the Clock Tower,  Taiwan Park, and Enver Hoxha’s bunker. Accommodation in the hotel. Dinner and free evening to enjoy Tirana’s nightlife.
