The Inca Jungle Trek is an unbelievable 4 day alternative tour where you can envolve your experience in adventure sports such as RAFTING, TREKKING, BIKING and ZIP LINE. It also includes some recently discovered Inca paths with archaeological remains, the expansive and towering Abra Malaga Mountain, the deep green valley and the vibrant jungle basin of Santa Maria. Day 1: Cusco - Santa Maria (biking and rafting)
Stop At: Santa Maria, Santa Maria, Cusco Region
The guide will pick you up at your hostel in Cusco, after breakfast. In Ollantaytambo we will travel by bus to the highest place of the trip Abra Malaga pass, 4350 meters over the sea level. Next we will go to the snow mountain Veronica to do downhill in bikes to Santa Maria 2250 meters over the sea level. Once this activity is finished we are ready to have a delicious typical lunch. After a break, we are ready to continue the adventure doing rafting level tree, not too dangerous but not too boring, perfect to have fun. Finish the day in a comfortable EcoLodge.

Day 2: Santa Maria-Santa Teresa (trekking - hot springs)

After breakfast, we go to Inka Trail where we start walking for approximately 4 hours through the high forest among the abundance of flora and fauna. In this area it is possible to see many types of plants, orchids, birds and other wild animals, a paradise of biodiversity in the Inka jungle. During our trip we will see the archaeological center of Inka Carcel where the Incas punished people who did not comply with the rules of the Inka society. We will continue our walk through the Inka road after lunch made by a local community with fruits and tubers native to the area. Hot springs of Cocalmayo will be the trophy, there we will relax our muscle before go to bed.

Day 3: Santa Teresa – Aguas Calientes (zip-line and hiking)
Stop At: Aguas Calientes, Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley, Cusco Region
We will continue exploring the roads less traveled. We will start at the town of Santa Teresa. The passengers that reserved in advance will do the zip-line (later they will be taken by bus to the hydroelectric), the rest of the group will continue hiking for approx. 3 hours until reaching the hydroelectric too, where the whole group will rejoin. Here we will have a great lunch. After a break, the journey will continue along the path for 3 hours, going through waterfalls, coca and coffee farms until arriving at the town of Aguas Calientes. The group will be taken to the hostel around 4 pm. At night we will all get together in a restaurant to have a great dinner and have a briefing about the trek to Machu Picchu.

Day 4: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco
Stop At: Machu Picchu, Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley, Cusco Region
We will rise early at 4:00am to begin our climb toward Machu Picchu. The trek will include a challenging 1 hour and half ascent toward the ancient citadel. After arriving at the entrance around 6:00am to meet our guide, our group will enjoy a privately guided tour for 2 hours in the Inca citadel. After the tour, you will be free to enjoy Machu Picchu on your own. According to the departure time of your bus, given to you by the tour guide before the tour, the group will descend toward Aguas Calientes to catch the train back to Ollantaytambo where everybody will be picked up and transferred to Cusco. The group has to be at the train station at least 30min before departure. The trip will finish in the square of San Francisco, Cusco.
