  • Day 1: Transfer from Kutaisi to Svaneti (Mestia)

    Stop At: Mestia, Mestia, Upper Svaneti, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Region
    We will meet at your hotel early at the morning(
    by agreement) and start our wondefull trip to Svaneti. Our first main stop will be at Enguri dam which is one of the highest arch dam in the world(a height of 271.5 metres). Then we drive to the region of Upper Svaneti which is an outstanding example of an exceptional mountain landscape composed of highly preserved villages with unique defensive tower houses, examples of ecclesiastical architecture and arts of medieval origin. At the first day after check in to the hotel you will able to explore small town Mestia by walking into the narrow streets, visiting small cafes and local souvenirs shops.

    Day 2: Mestia-Ushguli-Mestia

    Stop At: Ushguli, Ushguli, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Region
    At the second day of the morning you will depart by local off-road car to the Ushguli which is located at the foot of mount Shkara and at the confluence of the rivers Enguri and Kvishiri. The highest permanent settlement in Europe (2200 m) with the outstanding mixture of mountainous landscape and the medieval-type towers and churches will astonish visitors. . Here you will abale to visit the Ushguli Ethnograpic museum located in the 12th century old Svanetian tower-house, "Love Tower". You can also visit a mediaval Lamaria church ( of the assumption of the Mother of God).

    Day 3: Transfer from Svaneti(Mestia) to Kutaisi

    Stop At: Kutaisi, Kutaisi, Imereti Region
    So this is last day of trip and time to drive back to Tbilisi , but do not worry about long way back because you have left some places for you , on the way back to Kutaisi we will have a chance to visit :

    - Dadiani Palace in Zugdidi
    - Martvili Canyons
    - Prometheus Cave
