    Day 2: Two Gorgeous Palaces

    Visit to the Catherine Palace will give you a perfect introduction of the excessive lives the Russian tsars had. You will visit the world famous Amber Room. Weather permitting, the inside visit to the Catherine Palace will be followed by a walk in the Catherine Garden

    You will learn about the life style of old Russia's wealthiest noble family, see their parlours, ball rooms, concert hall and home theatre, dining rooms and bedrooms. The second part of the tour will take you to the bachelor's apartment of Felix Yusupov - in those gloomy rooms the most mysterious person at the crown of the Russian Empire - Gregory Rasputin - found his death.

    River and canal boat tour will take you to the main waterway of St. Petersburg - the Neva River, you will see parade St. Petersburg from water - Neva Embarkments adorned with gorgeous palaces and architectural ensembles. At the same time during the boat tour you will ride along smaller rivers and canals of St. Petersbrg and see churches, tenement houses, schools, theatres that line along their embankments.
