      You will be picked up at your hotel in Moshi/Arusha will travel by road to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara is a wonderful introduction to a safari, it is one of the smaller and underrated National Parks in Tanzania. It is an unspoiled paradise of ground water forest fed by underground springs and teeming with wildlife such as elephants, hippos, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and some of the largest baboon troops in Africa. The bird life is spectacular year round. After your tour around the park, you will transfer to Kizumba campsite for dinner and Overnight

      Day 2: Ngorongoro crater back to Arusha

      Stop At: Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania
      Today you have another early start as you head to the Ngorongoro Crater – one of the new 7 Natural Wonders of Africa. Not only does the Ngorongoro Crater have some breathtaking scenery, it is also home to over 25,000 wild creatures. Estimates suggest there are 7,000 wildebeest, 4,000 zebras, 3,000 eland, 3,000 gazelles, 600 hyena, 200-300 elephants, over 60 lions, 30 rhinos, and many others in a small area. The crater itself is about 610 metres deep and 260 square kilometres.

      Take time to find out how it was formed and when. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area, of which the crater is a small part, has a fascinating history and a remarkable cultural and human element – with prehistoric sites with some of the earliest known evidence of the human species.
