10 Gobi and Central Mongolian tour

Day 1: Arrival day Ulaanbaatar city tour

Stop At: Ulaanbaatar City Museum, Peace Avenue, Ulaanbaatar Mongolia
This day we will pick you up from the Airport and transfer to the hotel.
If you want, you can take a rest for a while and then we will have lunch afterward we will do a city tour. We will visit Zaisan hill from the hill you will be able to see the whole city. Gandan-Tegchlen Monastery. Mongolian National History Museum and see Mongolian traditional fork concert it will start 06pm and finish 07 pm. we will have dinner and we are going to drop you off our hotel.

Day 2: Drive to Tsagaan Suvraga/White Stupa

Stop At: Gobi Desert, Mongolia
The scarp of Tsagaan Suvarga is located in Ulziitsoum of Dundgovi province. It is interesting to see the sheer slope, facing east, which from a distance seems to be the ruins of the ancient city. The cliff is 30 meters high and 100 meters wide. Over thousands of years, the wind has created this amazing structure.

Day 3: Drive to South Gobi & Yol valley

Stop At: Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park, Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park
In the morning we will drive to Yol Valley (Vulture Canyon). The Vulture Canyon, which nestles between the beautiful peaks of Gurvansaikhan of the Three Beauties.
After arrival at the canyon, we will take a 2-hour hike through the canyon and maybe able to see parts of a glacier left over from the winter months. On our way in/out of the park, we can visit the local Natural History Museum where dinosaur eggs and bones, petrified trees and a snow leopard are on display

Day 4: Drive to Khongor Sand Dunes

Stop At: Gobi Desert, Mongolia
The drive to the Khongr sand dunes takes between 3 and 4 hours, passing through vast desert badlands that span out into the furthest distances, where remote mountains line the horizon. Lone gers and nomads on camel-back hang suspended in the mirages, whilst the desert floor is strewn with a range of colorful rocks and unusual minerals.

Day 5: Bayanzag or Flaming cliff via Ongi Monastery

Stop At: Bayanzag Saxual Forest, Mongolia
This morning we are going to drive to the Bayanzag area. Known as a Flaming Cliffs "Cradle of Dinosaurs" this is where the first nest of dinosaur eggs ever discovered was found in 1922, we will explore the area and continue to drive to Ongi monastery which was built in the late 18th century to commemorate the first-ever visit to Mongolia by a Dalai Lama

Day 6: Drive to Orkhon Valley

Stop At: Orkhon Valley, Mongolia
Today we will drive to Orkhon valley, registered as World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 2005, this Orkhon River valley.There are many of Mongolia’s ancient monuments lie within its basin. And there is Orkhon Waterfall, also called Ulaan Tsutgalan was formed by a series of volcanic eruptions about 20.000 years ago.
It cascades from the height of 22 meters and is 10m wide. Here we will visit nomadic family and make horse riding for an hour. Overnight in ger camp. This day we will drive about 300 km.

Day 7: 13th century ancient capital Kharkhorin & Erdenezuu Monastery

Stop At: Kharkhorin, Kharkhorin, Ovorkhangai Province
In the morning, we will drive to the Kharkorin and ErdeneZuu monastery, the site of the ancient capital of the Great Mongolian Empire. The city served as the Mongolian capital for only 40 years (until when Khubilai Khaan moved it to what is now Beijing). Most of the city was later destroyed by Chinese soldiers during the second half of the 14th century. And the remnants of the city were used to build the ErdeneZuu Monastery in the 16th century

Day 8: Beautiful Ugii lake

Stop At: Ugii Lake, Mongolia
In the morning, we will drive to Uglii lake which is a freshwater lake in eastern Arkhangai, in central Mongolia. The lake, designated as a Ramsar Site of International Importance, is known for its fish and bird-life. It is a stopover point for migrating water birds of the family Anatidae. Almost half the lake is less than 3 m deep. We can swim and fish there. Do not forget your swimming suit. Today we will have Mongolian traditional BBQ for dinner.

Day 9: Khustai NP via Terelj NP

Stop At: Gorkhi Terelj National Park, Gorkhi Terelj National Park, Tov Province
Today we will drive to Khustai National Park The park lies in the foothills of the southern Khentii mountain range and it is the place where you can see wild horse called Takhi known as Przewalski horse to the world. And then drive to beautiful Terelj National Park. Overnight tourist ger guest house.

Day 10: Drive to Chinggis Khan Equestrian statue complex / Departue

Stop At: Genghis Khan Statue Complex, Tsonjin Boldog, Ulaanbaatar Mongolia
This morning after having breakfast, we will drive to Chinggis Khan Equestrain Statue Complex which is the tallest a horseman statue in the world. Drive back to the city / Departure
